US Patent "Carrierless RFID System" Issued

U.S Patent 7,385,511 "Carrierless RFID System" has been issued on 10, June 2008. The Passpulse, Martec's passive UWB RFID technology, has been developed embodying the ideas described in the patent. The Passpulse technology is able to eliminate drawbacks of the state-of-the-art RFID systems and expand RFID applications area. The technology utilizes impulse ultra wideband radio and provides a long operation range, high data rate and security, location/tracking performance and networking ability, thus providing for a substantial improvement of RFID performance.
